It doesn't take too many steps through Pittsburgh's football facility before your knee deep in rich college football history. There are title trophies from the game's earliest decades. Tony Dorsett's Heisman Trophy is prominently on display. Wall graphics honor the 51 All-Americans and multiple NFL players who started their career at Pitt.

There's plenty to be excited about for Pittsburgh's present, too. Like the upgrades made to this facility since the hiring of Pat Narduzzi and a team that is ready to flip the switch and contend for an ACC title in 2016.

But fans with fond memories of watching the blue and gold in decades past will be overcome by waves of nostalgia this fall when the Panthers break out these throwback uniforms for the team's Homecoming game against Georgia Tech.

Pittsburgh legend Larry Fitzgerald approves of the throwback look and is jealous that he didn't get to wear these uniforms when he was a Panther.
