LSU went into Kyle Field on Thanksgiving night and blasted Texas A&M 54-39 to cap off a 7-4 season. Seven of those games were played under the guidance of Ed Orgeron, who took over after Les Miles was fired following the Auburn game and went 5-2 as the Tigers' interim coach.

Thursday night not only brought LSU a win but also rumors of the program being deep in negotiations with Houston's Tom Herman for the soon-to-be vacant coaching position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Orgeron has stated his desirs to keep the job into 2017 and reportedly has a meeting scheduled on Friday with athletic director Joe Alleva. The win on Thursday night certainly won't hurt his case, and if LSU's players have a say, he'll be back on the sidelines leading them next season.

That's video from linebacker Duke Riley was taken from the locker room following the Texas A&M win. LSU's players are chanting "Keep Coach O!" in a resounding vote of confidence from the team in their coach. LSU's kicker also made sure to tweet his feelings after the game.

We'll see if the athletic department and boosters plan on listening in the coming days and weeks.
