Angels' Albert Pujols: Making spring debut

Pujols (foot) is in the lineup Friday for the first time this spring, hitting third as the designated hitter in Cactus League action, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The Halos will continue monitoring Pujols' progress after his December foot surgery, but his debut with a few weeks left in camp marks a positive step. The veteran is being somewhat overlooked in early drafts, but could see his price rise if he starts mashing in spring games.
