Angels' Blake Wood: Dealing with damaged UCL

Wood (elbow) underwent an MRI which revealed damage to his UCL.

This is an unfortunate development for Wood, as the veteran right-hander was on the cusp of returning from an elbow impingement before suffering the setback. He's set to receive a second opinion before determining the next step. As is often the case with UCL injuries, Tommy John surgery is firmly on the table for Wood.
