Maybin filled up the stat sheet Thursday, going 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, a steal, an RBI and a trio of runs scored in a 10-5 win over the Yankees.
The 30-year-old has been doing his best Mike Trout impression since returning from the disabled list June 9, slashing an impressive .388/.455/.673 with three homers and a whopping nine steals in those 12 games. Maybin's overall slash line sits at a modest .277/.387/.442 due to an early-season slump, but his red-hot production right now is impossible to ignore in almost any format. Fantasy owners fortunate enough to own Maybin should continue to ride the wave of production -- just keep in mind the veteran has a long history of health issues, so a backup plan should be readily available in the event he goes down to injury again.
