Nunez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 15-5 Cactus League loss to the Indians.

Fellow prospect Matt Chapman was held out with a cracked toenail, giving Nunez the start at third. In addition to the two-run blast, which came off Josh Martin in the sixth with Jaff Decker aboard, the 22-year-old also hit the ball squarely in his other two at-bats, drawing the praise of manager Bob Melvin. Nunez is now hitting .222 over his first nine at-bats this spring after coming into Saturday's game hitless.
