Alonso (wrist) will be available off the bench for Saturday's game against the Yankees, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports.
He took batting practice Saturday morning and said he expects to be available, even though he is not in the lineup for the third straight game. Ryon Healy is starting at first base and hitting fifth.
