As of Wednesday morning, Sanchez (finger) has no timeline for returning from his third DL stint of the season, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Nicholson-Smith also reported that Sanchez said his injury is "not getting any better." The right-hander's finger issue has been an evolving ailment this season. It was first a blister, then a cracked nail and now a blood blister that's formed under the nail of his right middle digit. "The only thing that's going to help it heal is not doing anything, not playing catch, just letting it heal," Sanchez said. "If it's going to take 30 days to find an answer for the rest of my career, then so be it." The 24-year-old is likely to need one or two minor-league rehab starts once he's ready to return. From the sound of it, owners should settle in and make some long-term plans to offset the loss of last year's breakout pitcher.
