Pompey (knee) returned to action Friday for Triple-A Buffalo, going 1-for-3 with two runs, a RBI and two walks.

The speedy outfielder also tallied two stolen bases, showing that he is over the knee issue that kept him out for a few days. He is hitting .269/.351/.345 and has one homer while going 6-for-11 on stolen-base attempts. His prospect star has faded, but it's still possible that he could become a serviceable big league outfielder, as he's still just 23 years old.
