Blue Jays' Ryan Borucki: Optioned to High-A

Borucki was optioned to High-A Dunedin on Tuesday.

As expected, the 22-year-old southpaw will continue priming at the organization's lower levels this season. In four minor league campaigns, Borucki owns a solid 3.61 ERA with 186 strikeouts over 204.1 innings. He's a top-20 prospect in the Jays' system, and Borucki will be a leading contender to crack the big-league bullpen in upcoming seasons, with a rotation spot an eventual possibility too.
