White was assigned to minor-league camp Saturday.
As a non-roster invitee, White was always a long shot to break camp on the big-league roster. His .074/.103/.111 spring slash line certainly didn't help his case. He could push for a bench role later this season if he sorts things out in the minors although he doesn't have a path to regular playing time.
