Foltynewicz (2-3) pitched 5.2 innings, allowing five runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out five in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies.

Making his second start since returning from the 15-day DL (bone spurs in elbow), Foltynewicz gave up four home runs for the second time in his three-year career. The 24-year-old's ERA ballooned more than a half-point to 4.29 with Tuesday's clubbing. If there was anything encouraging about the outing, it was that Foltynewicz managed 87 pitches without any apparent setbacks.
