Foltynewicz struck out a career-high 10 batters without issuing a single walk across seven shutout innings in Sunday's win over the White Sox, improving his record to 3-3.

Foltynewicz was a strike-throwing machine Sunday, as he was in the zone at an impressive 73-percent clip and induced 17 swinging strikes. The performance came on the heels of a rough patch in which he had allowed seven runs over his last 8.2 innings, so this game will do much in the way of generating some positive momentum for Foltynewicz, who will head into the second half of the season with a 3.67 ERA.
