Sierra went 8-for-12 with an RBI, a stolen base and three runs over his first three games back at Double-A Springfield, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
The speedy phenom collected four hits in his first game back Tuesday and followed that up with a pair of hits apiece in each game of a Wednesday doubleheader as well. Sierra added a hit in Springfield's contest Thursday to extend his hitting streak to five games before going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Friday. Nevertheless, his .352/.362/.481 line over his first 54 at-bats against Double-A pitching is highly impressive, especially when paired with the .375 average he's compiled between two separate big-league stints.
