Cardinals' Matt Adams: Not in lineup for Game 2 of doubleheader

Adams is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Jedd Gyorko will take over at first base against Bartolo Colon in the nightcap. Adams homered in back-to-back games last weekend, including a walkoff shot in the 16th inning Friday, but the highlights have been few and far between for Adams over the past two months. He could lose out on playing time when Brandon Moss (ankle) returns from the DL.
