Diamondbacks' Jake Lamb: Pushes hitting streak to six with homer

Lamb went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a pair of walks in Wednesday's extra-inning win over the Mets.

He's been scorching over the course of his ongoing six-game hitting streak, racking up 11 hits -- including two homers and two doubles -- in the space of 24 at-bats (.458). Although his strikeouts are up a bit this year and his .356 BABIP is probably due for some regression, Lamb is also walking at a career-best pace, and he's got the thunder in his bat to keep getting plenty of hits on the balls he puts in play.
