Diamondbacks' Randall Delgado: Confirmed as Monday's starter

Delgado will make another start Monday against the Pirates, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Delgado finished just four innings in his spot start Wednesday against the White Sox, but he was sharp until he ran up against his pitch count. He allowed just one earned run on three hits and a walk, a good enough performance to earn himself another start. Still, Delgado will likely be sent back to the bullpen once Taijuan Walker is ready to return, and Walker is currently expected to be ready for the next turn through the rotation.
