D-backs general manager Dave Stewart suggested that Brito is likely to return to the 25-man roster after the team's current stretch of 20 games without an off-day, the Arizona Republic reports.
In two games since being optioned to Triple-A Reno earlier this week, Brito is 0-for-10 with a strikeout. The D-backs' lack of a true center fielder on the roster bodes well for Brito's chances of getting recalled soon, and it should only be a matter of time before he's raking in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.
