Brito (finger) is set to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Reno, Jody Jackson of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Brito has completed his post-surgery rehab program and is set to return to the field. However, because he's missed extended time and hasn't played since the spring, it's possible that Brito will be assigned to Triple-A Reno once he's activated from the disabled list. Brito struggled in the majors during the 2016 season, as he slashed .179/.196/.358 over 40 games.
