Wood will make his next scheduled start rather than returning to a bullpen role, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Wednesday's dominant performance apparently opened some eyes in the organization, as the southpaw now seems to be in line to maintain a rotation spot until further notice. It's unclear who gets the hook once Rich Hill (finger) returns from the disabled list, although manager Dave Roberts did note that Hill could head to the bullpen upon activation. Nonetheless, Wood appears to be in line to make his next start Tuesday against the Giants.
