Bellinger went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 6-2 win over the Rockies.

The rookie has now homered five times in the last week and seven times in 16 games since being called up to the majors. The league may be starting to draw a bead on Bellinger, as he's struck out 10 times in his last 29 at-bats, but while his .323/.391/.726 slash line will almost certainly tumble as the season progresses, the 21-year-old's power is very real and he has a clear path to regular playing time in left field with Andrew Toles (knee) lost for the year.
