Buckel signed a minor-league deal Friday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
The 23-year-old was just released by the Rangers organization on April 27 and will look to rediscover his command with a new franchise. Buckel was pitching in Double-A prior to being released, so it's expected that he will continue his season at the same level.
