Dodgers' Josh Ravin: Placed on 15-day DL

Ravin (arm) was placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Ravin suffered a broken bone in his non-pitching forearm during a car accident, and has been given a timetable of 8-to-12 weeks for a return. If that timetable holds up, there's a good chance the reliever ends up on the 60-day DL in the near future in order to clear up a spot on the 40-man roster.
