Indians' Cody Anderson: Has been activated from disabled list

Anderson (elbow) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday.

Anderson was placed on the minor league DL in mid-June and will return Tuesday after being shut down for a week following his injury. He had been spending time between Triple-A Columbus and the Indians most of the season before landing on the disabled list, posting a 7.48 ERA with a 1.64 WHIP over 43.1 innings in the majors.
