The Indians have traded left-handed reliever Marc Rzepczynski to the Padres for center fielder Abraham Almonte, per ESPN.
Rzepczynski has struggled this year after two strong seasons in Cleveland. His 4.43 ERA, if maintained, would be his worst since 2010.
The 26-year-old Almonte is hitting just .204 for San Diego this year and is batting .233 in 330 big-league at-bats.
