Pinch hitting for Ben Gamel with Jarrod Dyson on second base representing the winning run, Heredia knocked a 1-1 pitch from Dan Jennings into center to seal the victory. The 26-year-old has continued to offer plenty of offensive production, as he's hit safely in three straight and seven of his last nine. While he offers only modest power, Heredia rarely strikes out and has been successful hitting out of various spots in the order.
