Pazos (1-1) fired a scoreless seventh inning in earning Saturdays' 8-2 win over the Rangers, giving up a hit and recording three strikeouts.
Pazos mowed through Carlos Gomez, Joey Gallo and Shin-Soo Choo in impressive fashion, getting all three on swinging strikes. The 26-year-old southpaw has proven to be a valuable lefty option out of the bullpen, posting a scoreless outing in seven of his last eight trips to the mound, with two of those appearances occupying multiple innings. He's yet to surrender a home run in 14 innings and sports an impressive 19:6 K:BB.
