Mariners' Jean Machi: Lands at Triple-A Tacoma

Machi was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

Machi was designated for assignment Saturday and is headed to the Pacific Coast League. Machi allowed just one run over 7.2 innings (five games) with the big club before being sent to Tacoma, but he's coming off a 2016 campaign that saw him post a 5.12 ERA and 1.40 WHIP.
