Williams was released by the Orioles on Sunday, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
The 29-year-old was designated for assignment by the Orioles earlier in September and now takes his leave from the organization. Williams appeared in 10 games this season and went 2-for-18 with nine strikeouts.
