Mets' Jacob deGrom: Fires eight shutout innings Saturday

deGrom (3-4) allowed no runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over eight innings, but received no decision Saturday at the Braves.

deGrom pitched a gem, but Julio Teheran matched him pitch-for-pitch, and the game was in a scoreless tie upon his departure. He's now fired six straight quality starts, and he owns a 2.67 along with a 1.12 WHIP. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Cubs.
