Werth recently had been suffering from bronchitis, but manager Dusty Baker said the outfielder is feeling better and will be back in the lineup Thursday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.
The 37-year-old was having a healthy camp before this and will return to action after the hiccup. Still, the veteran should rightfully be the subject of skepticism over his ability to post something close to a full season, given his past injury battles and advancing age. Of course, mixed leaguers seeking middle-to-late-round power shouldn't ignore him if the draft room stays away too long.
