Nationals' Koda Glover: Confirmed as closer

Manager Dusty Baker confirmed Glover as his closer following Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Mariners, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

While the closer job was essentially Glover's heading into Wednesday's contest, Baker confirmed that for the first time following the team's win. "That's the job he wanted, and it's his now," Baker quipped about Glover following his perfect ninth frame against the Mariners. The 24-year-old has now finished each of the last four games he's pitched in, earning a save and striking out four across four scoreless innings.
