Nationals' Ryan Madson: Throwing bullpen session Sunday

Madson (back) was throwing a bullpen session prior to Sunday's game against the Mets, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Madson traveled to Phoenix for electric therapy last week as he returns from the back injury. The veteran right-hander could return from the disabled list as soon as Monday at Philadelphia if everything goes smoothly, but an activation later in the week still appears more likely.
