Jimenez (2-2) allowed only two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three batters through seven innings during Sunday's win over St. Louis.
This was Jimenez's first start since May 22, and it was his best outing since pitching 7.2 scoreless innings against Cincinnati on April 19. It's been a rough year for the veteran righty, and his 6.25 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 7.5 K/9 aren't moving the fantasy needle. While he's still a potential streaming option or low-priced flier in daily contests against the right opponents, expectations should also be kept in check. If Jimenez sticks in the rotation for another turn, he projects to face the Rays at Tropicana Field.
