Cashner (neck) has been activated from the DL and will start Sunday against the Yankees, MLB.com's AJ Cassavell reports.
Cashner hasn't pitched since June 10 due to a neck injury, as he was removed from that outing after just six pitches. His health now appears to be back on track, and the right-hander will get a chance to establish a rhythm against a Yankees team that is 5-5 in their last 10 games. Even though Cashner is starting, don't expect him to pitch too deep into this contest, as he only threw 38 pitches in his sole rehab start.
