The Mets released Bickford on Tuesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Bickford was designated for assignment over the weekend, and the Mets have now decided to cut him loose. The right-hander had a 4.95 ERA over 67.1 innings between the Dodgers and Mets last season.
