Morgan (2-9) allowed one run on five hits and zero walks over six innings in a winning effort Tuesday against the Marlins. He struck out five.

Morgan had lost nine consecutive decisions entering Tuesday, so this outing may have been enough to get the monkey off his back. Despite his record and 5.90 ERA on the season, he has now strung together three quality starts in his last four games and could be an underrated fantasy play down the stretch. He'll face off against the Nationals and Gio Gonzalez on September 11 in his next start.
