Hellickson was removed from Friday's game against Pittsburgh in the seventh inning with an apparent back or oblique injury after hitting an RBI double, Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal reports.

Hellickson was cruising before the injury, having allowed just one run on two hits over six innings. He needed just 84 pitches to get the job done, so he was certainly going to come out for the seventh and possibly beyond. Consider him day-to-day until the team is able to evaluate his status further.
