Velasquez allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings, but he received no decision Sunday at the Pirates.

Velasquez entered the sixth inning with a 4-2 lead, but after giving up a two-run homer to Matt Joyce, he ended up with a no-decision. This was the first time in seven starts that he's allowed more than two runs in an outing, and his ERA is at 3.34 on the year. He'll make his next start Friday at the Braves.
