Rangers' Nomar Mazara: Not in Friday's lineup

Mazara is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

This marks Mazara's first time out of the lineup since his promotion to the major leagues back on April 10. He will sit in favor of Ryan Rua in right field with lefty Jose Quintana on the hill for Chicago. Mazara has five strikeouts in 12 at-bats against southpaws, but he also has four hits, so it doesn't seem there's a need for him to be strictly platooned.
