Choo is not in the lineup Saturday against the Red Sox.
With the Red Sox sending southpaw Drew Pomeranz to the mound, Choo will head to the bench as Rougned Odor serves as DH and Pete Kozma slides in to start at second base. Choo has only started six games against lefty pitchers this season compared to 34 against right-handers.
