Jennings was placed on the 15-day disabled list Saturday.
The reason for Jennings' placement on the disabled list was not provided, but he has not played since Tuesday and missed all of July with a hamstring injury, so it seems likely that was the cause. Mikie Mahtook was activated from the disabled list to replace Jennings on the roster.
