The Red Sox have announced that left-hander Craig Breslow has been placed on paternity leave.
The veteran reliever has been getting clobbered for a while. He has allowed 10 earned runs on 20 hits in 11 2/3 inning going back to April 28. His ERA has sinced jumped from 0.00 to 4.03.
