Pomeranz (triceps) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Pomeranz was pulled from a start Sunday after just three innings with what was described as tightness in the triceps. The left-hander said he plans to make his next scheduled start Friday, but that's pending Monday's exam.
