The Reds designated outfielder Derrick Robinson for assignment Tuesday. The move was made to accommodate recently-signed second baseman/outfielder Skip Schumaker on the 40-man roster.
Robinson played in 102 games as a rookie in 2013, batting .255 with 21 runs scored and four stolen bases.
