Descalso (hand) is down to wearing a brace after he had the cast removed from his hand last week, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
Descalso's hand seems to be improving, as the cast removal shows, but he hasn't been able to do anything baseball-related yet. He is slated to meet with a doctor next week to see if the brace can be removed, which could allow him to get back to baseball activities.
