Hale was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Hale will come up for the first time this season to take the roster spot of Nick Hundley, who was placed on the 7-day concussion DL on Saturday. The 25-year-old has allowed five hits and one earned run in two starts (six innings) with Albuquerque this season.
