Garneau was optioned to Triple-A on Monday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
He'll head back to the minors with Nick Hundley (concussion) back from the DL. Garneau went 4-for-10 (.400) with an RBI over three games during his latest stint with the big club.
