Rockies' Gonzalez Germen fires three shutout innings on Friday

Making the first big-league start of his career, Rockies right-hander Gonzalez Germen held the Braves to one hit over three scoreless innings of work. He walked one and struck out one, but did not stick around long enough to factor in the decision, as the Rockies went on to win 5-3.
