Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 10-0 win over the Cardinals.
The blast was his team-leading 13th of the season, leaving him one shy of his total from last season, but it was also his first since May 9. Reynolds enjoyed a fast start to 2016 before fading over the summer, hitting .307 in April and May but .234 in June and July, and a similar pattern may be about to repeat itself this year.
